About the project

Description & Aims

«Robots and kids» is a project to help kids to grasp the theory and practice of computational thinking and develop their intellectual skills. Robots is a cross-curricular toy that offers a fun and engaging way to learn about other subjects too. Learning to code in early years is fundamental. It is easy to integrate robots in preschool curriculum. Using Robot will teach to kids the basics of programming away from the screen. The school partner share their ideas and think together about the best ways to teach through robots.

Pupils will
•Develop Problem Solving skills and critical thinking (Example: as we learned to tie your shoes when we were children - this is an example of how we have come to learn a process for solving the problem.)
•Learning strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas.
•Develop creativity and imagine.
•Learn the basic concepts of algorithms, recusion and  heuristics —even if they don’t understand the terms;

Teachers will:
•Share knowledge and ideas
•Learn from each other.
•Write a e-book (communication and cooperation)
